When the work has to be repeated several times it could be reasonable to use special equipment designed ad-hoc, only for that particular job.
It is the case of these red towers on boggies. After completed the assembly of a railway bridge, it is carried to the jobsite lifted by two towers with pulleys and winches. The convoy has a power generator on a wagon and it is pulled by a locomotive. When the new bridge is passing over the old bridge, the convoy stops and all the railroad traffic is suspended, so the hours count.

The towers also can lift the bridge when passing though other bridge during the transportation.
The hoisting towers can be also used along with a horizontal wheel so the old bridge can be rotated 90º .
